My path into healing was not one of convenience, but born from necessity—sparked from a profound inner rupture that initiated a dark night of the soul.
In the years leading up to this, I traveled widely and immersed myself in Buddhist practice, including Tibetan, Theravada, and Zen. While these years offered a strong spiritual foundation, it wasn’t until my thirties, as an inner shift took place and unresolved wounds began to emerge, that my healing truly began. Ayahuasca entered my life and became a catalyst for deep insight and change.
What followed was an intense and transformative period marked by loss, grief, solitude, shadow work, and sustained inner inquiry. During this time, Tobacco emerged—offering grounding, clarity, and a way through. This led me into an extended cycle of traditional plant dietas, an immersive, ever-humbling process of healing and learning that unfolded into an extensive apprenticeship within the Mamancunawa Tabaquero lineage, completed in March 2025.
I hold deep gratitude for all my teachers, including Tabaqueros Jason Grechanik and Merav Artzi, and for everyone who has supported me along the way—especially those whose guidance continues to shape my journey.
There are no limits to where the plants can take us. Where are we willing to go?
